So pretty much I’ve told you how great this software is and how cheap it is (for now). I’m back and now I’m going to tell you a few features.

Feature #1: Remove Duplicate Songs -  Pretty much what the name says. You’ll be surprised at how many duplicate songs you’ll find, but it’s normal right? I mean, if you’re a music lover like me with thousands of songs, it’s obvious that you will have a few songs that are exactly the same.  The thing is, even though the names were misspelled and the names were different, the software still found songs that were exactly the same.

Feature #2:  Fix Misspelled Song Details -  I LOVE LOVE LOVE this feature! TidySongs fixes misspelled and missing artist, album, name, track, year and genre details and renames artists and albums with their correct format. For example, lets say one of your files was named “Britney Spears – Baby One”, it’ll rename it to “Britney Spears – Baby One More Time” which is the full title of the artist and the song.  All of this is done automatically of course!

Feature #3:  Fill in Missing Artists, Year and Genres – Make your song library easier to browse by letting TidySongs automatically fill in the artist, album release year and genre for each song. When fixing songs, you can choose to use information from the original album the song was released on or a compilation or greatest hits. It keeps your music organized.

Feature #4: Adds Missing Album Network -  This feature is great. If you’re like me, you want your music to look good. So what this software does is automatically find high resolution album artwork for each of your songs so that it displays on your computer, in iTunes and on your iPod, iPhone, TV or other music player. If you’ve tried other software, they make you do this step automatically but with Tidysongs it’s all automatically.

I know I’ve said this word a lot, but everything is Automatically.

Tidysongs – Is It Good?

So the other day I’ve talked about how great this software was and pretty much the only *great* software on the internet to automatically clean up your songs. I mean it’s true, can you think of any other software that can pretty much do anything you want for only $39? No, you can’t. I’ve done all the research and tried them all, none even come close to this software. So you can spend all the time you want on researching, but you’ll come back here.

I honestly don’t know why people are still waiting. The thing is, I’m not sure how long you can buy the software for only $39  for.  Even at $39, the software is still inexpensive for what it can do. The album art finder and mp3 duplicate finder feature in the software alone is worth this price.

The interface is really beautiful and easy to use. Even without reading the manual that came with the software or asking for help, I pretty much knew what to do.  It doesn’t take a computer nerd to use it, which is a nice thing.

TidySongs – Does it really work?

Yes,  yes it does! I’ve been looking for a software to organize the thousand of songs I have in my iTunes library and thanks to my friend that has referred it to me, I have it! BUT, it doesn’t matter if you have 10 or a thousand of songs, it will do it all.

Here are some of the features that you will love and best of all, it’s all automatic:

  • Remove Duplicate Songs – Remove Duplicate Files and delete duplicate songs from your library.
  • Fix Misspelled Song Details
  • Fill in Missing Artists, Year and Genres
  • Adds Missing Album Network – Album cover finder and add album art to your songs

Did I mention this was all done automatically?

If you’ve tried itunes or other related software,  they rely on the information on your songs to find the album art. Which means if the information is incorrect, you’ll run into a problem, but not Tidysongs! Even if your songs have missing info or the spelling is off,  Tidysongs intelligent database technology will find the matching artwork for your album. Pretty sweet, right?

Overall, I would give this piece of software a 4.7/5. You will not find another software like this on the internet. I’ve pretty much downloaded and tried it all and no other software comes close.

So how much does it cost? It’s currently $39, but it’s worth the asking price for all that it does.

Remove Duplicate Songs With Rinse My Music

remove duplicate songs in itunesYes, it’s possible to remove duplicate songs within Itunes itself and completely free, but the problem with Itunes built in duplicate songs remover is it only compares the name of your song. This means if your songs are even named a bit differently or has no name at all, it won’t find your duplicate songs. As you already know, the songs you download on the internet are always named differently even if it’s the same song. So how do you fix this? It’s easy, get rinse my music.

Rinse my music doesn’t compare the songs by the title or artist, but it uses the files itself to compare and check if the files are a duplicate. This means even if your songs have no name or renamed completely differently, rinse my music will still be able to remove your duplicate songs in order to free up space on your computer.

If you have a lot of songs in your itunes library such as me, rinse my music is a must tool if you wish to keep it neat and tidy. My Favorite Album Art Finder Software

album art finderAs you can already tell, my favorite album art finder software is rinse my music. I’ve tried many itunes software out on the market and my two top is currently rinse my music and tuneup media, but rinse is a bit better when it comes to ease of use and how well it works.

Why should you need a album art finder? If you want your itunes library to look as “cool” as possible, then you would need to go out there and get album cover art for your songs, but how long would it take you to go out there and do that manually? Hours if you have a lot of songs you need album art for. A easy fix for this is just to go and get a album cover finder that will automatically go out there and find high quality album art for your songs.

If you don’t want to spend money or don’t currently have money to spend on a album art finder, then you can do it manually. You can do this by going to http://www.albumart.org for all of your album covers. It’s totally free. The only down fall is you have to add all of your album arts manually which will take forever if you have a lot of songs. I would recommend a software such as rinse my music if you are serious about cleaning up your itunes library.

Tidysongs vs Tuneup Media

A friend of mine recently told me about a new software similar to Tidysongs (now named rinse my music) which is cheaper and does a better job. I didn’t believe it at first because I love Tidysongs, but if the price of the software is cheaper and does a better job, I don’t see the harm of trying it out and telling other people about it. Another problem is I see that a lot of people are having problems with Tidysongs from it not working on their computer to it reporting false reports. I had no problems with the software myself, so I can’t say anything bad about it.

The new software I’ve been talking about is called Tuneup Media and currently it’s $49 for a lifetime subscription. Price is no longer cheaper due to major update to tuneup media. Price has increased, but still recommended.

The features I Love about Tuneup Media:

Both tidysongs (now rinse my music) and tuneup media are both recommended. You really cant go wrong with either software. You can use the tuneup promo code before for a 15% discount which would make the price almost the same as rinse. Although you can’t go wrong with either software, I think tuneup media has the upper hand.
